OFA x Rode Kruis - Korte Film (Straatwerk)
Join us for an OFA event in collaboration with the Red Cross, dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness. Our goal is to address their immediate needs, raise public awareness and create space for meaningful conversations about poverty and social exclusion.
The event will feature three activities:
- Documentary screening: An ARTE documentary following a Red Cross outreach team, offering insight into the realities of homelessness and the work of frontline organisations.
- Information stand: Discover organisations supporting people experiencing homelessness, their missions and the different ways to get involved through volunteering.
- Photography exhibition: Explore photographs taken by two people experiencing homelessness, offering a personal perspective on the world through their own eyes.
Throughout November, we will also organise a fundraising campaign to purchase essential items, such as tents and sleeping bags, for people in need. Together, we hope to raise awareness, encourage dialogue and inspire everyone to take action towards a more inclusive society.
FR/ En collaboration avec la Croix-Rouge, OFA organise un événement pour mieux comprendre la réalité des personnes sans abri et réfléchir à la manière dont nous pouvons les aider. Au programme : un documentaire, un stand présentant différentes associations et une exposition de photos prises par des personnes sans abri. En novembre, nous organiserons également une collecte de fonds pour acheter du matériel essentiel, comme des tentes et des sacs de couchage. L’objectif est de sensibiliser, d’échanger et de montrer que chacun peut agir à son échelle.
