What kinds of spaces are available?

• We have 3 meeting rooms (Ketje, Zinneke 1 and Zinneke 2), 2 large spaces (Literary Salon and Mallemunt) and 1 auditorium (De Wolken).

Can I change the configuration of the meeting rooms?

• The meeting rooms have a set configuaration that cannot be changed. 

Can the configuration of a space be changed by Muntpunt during breaks?

• No. During external activities, Muntpunt staff will not enter the rented space except in case of major issues. If you want to change the layout of the space yourself during the event, that's fine.

Can we live stream our event? 

• We currently do not offer the required equipment for live streaming.

Do additional technical requirements incur extra costs?

• Any technical costs additional to the basic space setup are not included in the rental price and will be indicated separately on the invoice.

Which equipment is included in the space?

• Our spaces all contain a beamer and a screen as a standard. Any additional materials should be requested through the rider.

Does Muntpunt have a translator cabin?

• No, we do not have a translator cabin.

Technical details of the sound equipment:

• The sound equipment comes with a manual. You can also request up to 3 microphones through the rider. 

Is catering available? 

• Muntpunt itself does not provide catering. You are free to employ an external caterer, as long as this is announced to our staff in advance.

 Are your spaces wheelchair accessible?

• Yes, all our spaces are wheelchair accessible, and a lift is available.

 What is the Wi-Fi password?

• Wi-Fi is free. The password is different for each space and can be found inside, on the door.

Are toilets available?

• We have toilets on every floor except the second; when using second-floor spaces, you can use the first-floor toilets.

How can I book a space?

• You can book your preferred space by sending us a mail to zaalverhuur@muntpunt.be  with the following information: 
  • The room you wish to reserve
  • The day(s) and hours when you wish to use the room
  • How many people will attend
  • Your contact and billing information

Why can’t I choose my own event times for my bookings? 

• To make sure our spaces are used efficiently, we work with set time slots. If you want to rent a space outside of the available time slots, you need to book it for the entire day (8 hours).
• Want to rent a space for both the afternoon and the evening? You’ll have to create two separate bookings. You will receive two invoices and two rental contracts. You are free to keep using the space during the break between both time slots.

What about last-minute setup changes?

• Any changes to the space infrastructure must be requested via email, at the latest 10 days before the event.

Can I change my booking?

• Any changes must be requested via email, at the latest 10 days before the event.

How can I be sure my booking has been confirmed?

• Your confirmation email contains the rental contract. Once you have filled out the rental contract and the planning form, your booking is final. Until you sign the rental contract, the booking is not finalised.

Can I visit the space in advance?

• Certainly, if you book an appointment via email: zaalverhuur@muntpunt.be. 

When will I receive my invoice?

• We will generate and send out the invoice upon receipt of the signed rental contract.

What if I want to cancel?

• Terms & conditions and cancellation terms can be found in clause 7 of the contract. The same terms remain valid if the invoice has already been paid. If you don’t turn up on the day of your booking, you will be liable for the full rental sum.
